More Support!

Another quick note today…and more good news!  We have just received letters of support for our project from two more community groups – The Glassell Park Chamber of Commerce and the Glassell Park Improvement Association.  It seems that all the community outreach we’ve been doing over the last several weeks has paid off.  Hooray!

Success!

Just a quick note today…Last night’s meeting with the Neighborhood Council was a success, and the board unanimously agreed to write a positive “community impact statement”, in support of our project!  We love this neighborhood, so it was good to feel their support, and to know they want our little brewery to be a part of the community.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to support us, and also to those who wanted to stop by but couldn’t.  We appreciate (and need) all of your encouraging words!  Cheers!

Support Your (Future) Local Brewery

Hello Friends!  I know, I know…I haven’t posted anything new in weeks.  Mea culpa!  But, contrary to blog appearances, we have been very very busy trying to get community support for our project, and are moving closer to getting our permits approved.  In fact, if you live in the area of Northeast Los Angeles, there is something you can do to help.

Tomorrow (9/16/08) Eagle Rock Brewery will be presenting our proposed project to the Glassell Park Neighborhood Council. We need their support to expedite the opening of the brewery, and since they will only support us if they see the community does, we need everyone’s help!

These meetings are always open to the public, so come on down and show your support for our little brewery!
