Jeremy Raub

Jeremy is President and one half of the Brewing Team of Eagle Rock Brewery.  He learned to homebrew from his dad, Steve in 1994, and has been actively homebrewing in Los Angeles for over six years.  He is a Recognized Beer Judge with the Beer Judge Certification Program and in addition, he completed the Web-Based Concise Course in Brewing Technology, from the Siebel Institute of Technology.  Jeremy has spent the last thirteen years working in the film industry, and due to the nature of that industry has developed a relentless work ethic.  He has applied this relentless work ethic to the Brewing Arts, and his creativity and adventurous palate have earned him many awards for his unique beers.

 

Steve Raub

Steve is Vice President and one half of the Brewing Team of Eagle Rock Brewery.  An active home brewer for fourteen years, Steve has won numerous awards in local and regional competitions, and is a Recognized Beer Judge with the Beer Judge Certification Program.  Having been raised on a goat dairy and organic produce farm in Upstate New York, Steve has a strong appreciation of the farm work ethic and understands the importance of bringing fresh, top quality ingredients to the table, and to his beers.  Steve has over thirty-three years of combined experience in the U.S Navy and private sectors, working with both technology and customer relations, which has given him a strong sense of responsibility to customers and has won him several awards for his excellent commitment to service.

 

Jeremy and Steve are both members of The Maltose Falcons Home Brewing Society, the oldest homebrewing club in America and winner of the California Home Brew Club of the Year Award in 1989, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2004 and 2007.
